Instalasi Docker Engine

Pada tutorial kali ini saya akan menginstall docker engine di Debian 12 menggunakan script installer dari Official Docker

Ambil dan Jalankan script installer

curl -fsSL https://get.docker.com -o get-docker.sh

sudo sh get-docker.sh

Tunggu hingga proses instalasi selesai.

Post Installation

Buat group docker

sudo groupadd docker

Buat agar user non root bisa menjalankan docker

sudo usermod -aG docker namauser

Atau, jika kamu saat ini menggunakan user yang ingin bisa menjalankan docker

sudo usermod -aG docker $USER

Lakukan logout dan login kembali, disarankan lakukan restart mesin juga.

Untuk verifikasi apakah docker sudah terinstall dan bisa menjalankan docker menggunakan user non root gunakan perintah berikut

docker run hello-world

Jika sukses akan muncul output berikut

Unable to find image 'hello-world:latest' locally
latest: Pulling from library/hello-world
e6590344b1a5: Pull complete 
Digest: sha256:ec153840d1e635ac434fab5e377081f17e0e15afab27beb3f726c3265039cfff
Status: Downloaded newer image for hello-world:latest
